What a Bomb!

Do you feel like you were taken out by a bomb the past couple of days? Especially if you live in the mid-west? Guess what - you were! Below are some interesting articles on the dynamic storm system that bombed out right over Northern Minnesota. It then lead to 30 to 40 mph sustained winds over Minnesota, the Dakotas, Iowa, and Wisconsin with gusts up to 81 mph, severe storms and tornado outbreaks from Illinois to Georgia, and blizzard conditions across the Dakotas and Northern Minnesota.

The pressure in the center of the storm dropped as low as the pressure drops in a Category 3 hurricane!
