Enjoying Dinner and a Birthday

Before Nana and Pa left to go back to Texas, we took advantage of the gorgeous Iowa weather and had dinner on the back porch. After dinner, we had a few cupcakes to celebrate Nathan's birthday a little early while Nana and Pa were in town.

Nate's so funny because he hasn't really developed much of a sweet tooth and he only eats a little of his cakes or cookies before he's done with it. He only ended up eating half his cupcake!

He had a few fun gifts from the family, including some beautiful hand colored wrapping paper from Cousin Helen!

Nana and Pa gave Nathan a fun tin of Cars Card Games.

Here Nathan is modeling his new Alien hat from Aunt Amee and his new handmade sweater from Aunt Stephie! We can't wait to wear it when it gets cooler this fall!
