Chris Junior
We really should have named Nathan: Christopher Junior. His dad is making a huge effort to make sure that Nathan is a lover of all things sports. Anything that involves a ball, Nate wants to take part in.
We went to our first Iowa Cubs game of the season on May 19th with our friends Kristen and Dan (Kristen's 2nd Husband, aka. her husband's twin).

We used the station's season tickets and had great seats along the 3rd base line. It was a chilly night, so there were a lot of open seats. So open in fact that Nate and Chris were able to sit in the front row and really take in the game.

As the players game off the field after an inning, they even walked up to Nate and gave him a ball! Nate couldn't have been more pleased! He now carries that darn thing around every where.

Since Nate is growing like a weed, he's outgrown his Twins hat from last season. We found him a new hat... an Iowa Cubs cap! (That he calls his Twins hat. We'll let it slide.)

So the other side of the sporting world takes us to Nate's first time playing mini-golf! (It's the first step to the Masters, you know.) This sport involves a ball, and of course he loved it!

He even made a hole in TWO! (Appropriate in my opinion, considering he's only two.)

I see many more visits to Longview or any other mini-golf course in our future.
